CROSS COUNTRIES TEMPORARILY EXTENDED

SALDANHA BAY:- All Cross-Country qualifying races have been halted for the time being, for the school exams and will resume in the next term.

It was the third of six rallies held at the Saldanha Bay Military Academy on Saturday 28 May 2020. The next three meetings have been postponed for the time being, until after the schools exam, before continuing again.  The next event should resume on June 25, but visit West Coast Sports Solutions regularly for the new dates and venues where it will take place. However, athletes only have to participate in five heats to qualify, to participate in the Boland Championships on 20 August 2020 at Dal Josafat Stadium in Paarl.  Athletes who cross the bridge there will then have the opportunity to participate in the (ASA) Cross Country Championships final on Saturday 17 September 2020 in Rustenburg.

The following learners from Diazville High School in Saldanha Bay, were brilliant in the field, on Saturday 28 May, when they participated in the ASA (Athletic South Africa) West Coast Cross Country Athletics qualification.
